Freight

Damage due to freight is an expensive and frustrating experience. To work tirelessly building a fine product and have it arrive in a defective condition is depressing at the worse and wasteful at the best. We use every means at our disposal to insure products arrive as we built them.

We do not economize on packaging—period. Cardboard boxes are 275 lb burst strength, double wall. Crates are 1/2” plywood. Large orders are shipped with the chairs laying on their sides and air bagged in place to prevent movement.

Are their cheaper ways of packaging - sure, but the risk of an unhappy ending and customer is not worth the savings (particularly if it’s you). The following photos illustrate the detail and pride we take in “finishing our work”.
